Sandy received a Master of Social Work degree in 1976 at the University of Michigan and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She is a seaoned therapist with experience working in medical, educational, and outpatient settings with adults, children, adolescents, families and couples.  Her practice has included working with survivors of sexual and other forms of abuse, ADHD, mood disorders, women and couple concerns, and gender issues, with a culturally and socially diverse population.  She also provides premarital counseling services. 

As a member of the Samaritan Counseling Centers staff, she is available for appointments in Michigan City, LaPorte, and Valparaiso. 

Sandy is a member of the United Methodist Church, and she and her husband Dave have a blended family of three sons.  Sandy is a longtime resident of the Harbor Country area.
