When Ben finished his Masters Degree from the University of Michigan in the late 1970s he began fulfilling his mission of assisting those facing difficult mental health struggles. For the first ten years, Ben worked in Michigan, Washington, and Massachusetts.
In 1989, Ben planted roots in Northwest Indiana and has been servicing our community since that time. In addition to his work at the Samaritan Counseling Center, Ben teaches Social Work in the area of Social Sciences at Purdue Northwest.
Ben’s areas of interests include depression, anxiety, addiction, and anger management. Ben also enjoys the integration of spirituality and psychotherapy. His meets with his patients at 340 Commerce Sq,, Michigan City, IN 46360
